Every year, many of you settle in Brest. The city offers a welcome morning to facilitate the integration of each and every one of you in your new environment. It’s a great opportunity to discover the many aspects of Brest! The exact date of this welcome morning will be communicated soon.

Date of the next welcome morning
The next welcome morning for new residents will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Are you deaf or hard of hearing ?
From Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, contact the reception desk at Brest métropole and Ville de Brest via Elioz connect: a platform for interpretation in French sign language (LSF), real-time speech translation (TTRP), or French cued speech (LPC). This service allows you to communicate via a screen with a qualified relay operator who acts as an intermediary with the reception desk telephone service of Brest City Hall or Brest métropole.
This service is also available at the physical reception desks of City Hall and local town halls.

An information website in FALC (French as a foreign language) to help you complete your various administrative procedures.

The welcome morning event takes place in the Salon Richelieu of City Hall.
On the program for this event: a friendly get-together over coffee.
The municipal team, municipal and metropolitan departments, and various partners will be present to better inform, discuss, and help new residents in their administrative procedures.
On this occasion, a welcome booklet is given to new residents. This booklet is full of free offers and discounts. It allows you to discover all aspects of Brest: sports, culture, tourism, practical information, etc…

Any new resident (who comes from a municipality outside of Brest) who has changed their address with the post office (and agreed to provide their information to third parties) or who has registered with municipal services before the date of the welcome morning.
